Not-So-Easy Rider

I thought about posting Mr. Fonda's thoughts here. But I really get uncomfortable when we get into discussions about causing harm to the president, whomever it is.

It's pretty despicable that he would even say such things. His dad is rolling in his grave, I'm sure.

Apparently nutcases run in the Fonda family.

Peter is suffering the effects of too many drugs.

Like Ted Nugent.

Generally, scare tactics don't work on kids. However, in this case I would tell them that if one does an excess of drugs, one will become Republican. #-o  :help:

That line is clearly the result of one too many attempts at republican baiting humor

Time for a timeout

As for Peter fonda who is he? And who cares what he says?

I didn't read that as a threat against the president at all...

I also thought that he was careful with his words...

:):):)

“I’m training my grandchildren to use long-range rifles,” the actor told The Daily Telegraph at the international film festival. “For what purpose? Well, I’m not going to say the words 'Barack Obama,' but …”

If one goes to Hollywood, you will find mediocre actors - the offspring of famous ones who never lived up to anyone's expectations. Perhaps they are resting on their father's laurels. They can't get descent roles, but they have the celebrity to spout off anything they want at the drop of a hat. Well, I'm not going to say the words 'Peter Fonda', but... :p

Since Ted Nugent doesn't use drugs, you're talking about Fonda. He ain't no republican. ..|

I don't buy for a minute that Nugent hasn't abused drugs in his past.

He is like all the Republicans screaming about homosexuals and then being found with their lips around the dick of some male prostitute.

Or maybe Teddy, the guy that threw away 2 kids for adoption and made the '100 sleaziest moments in rock' for his relationship with a 17 year old girl and got the sleazeball hucksterbee to join him on 'Cat Scratch Fever' is just bat-shit crazy no matter how you look at it.

He was a teenage kid who knew he and his girlfriend couldn't support them. I love how you see that as a bad thing

Geez.

Twighlight party end early???

But since you bring it up....nice how when he was able to afford to do something, he never tried...the two were adopted separately and the son only found out that Nugent was his dad in 2010.

Oh....but at least their mother didn't have to go to court to get the deadbeat dad to pay support like the mother of the other bastard born to this loser in 1995 had to. Thank goodness the courts made him cough up at least $3,500 in 2005. Gee Ted. Think you could afford it?

And see my post above about Nugent and drugs.

At least most people are honest about dabbling in drugs.

Nugent sounds just like a closeted Republican Congressman railing on about the evils of homosexuality while trying to resist hanging around the bus station bathroom to get a BJ from a 17 year old hooker.

Oh wait a minute....it was Ted Nugent who got the family of his 17 year old Hawaiian girlfriend to sign over the rights to him as legal guardian so that he could keep fucking her because she was underage.

Yup. That Ted.

A real Republican hero.

^ u should hear what Ted says about u ;)

Interesting that you entered Ted into the convo .......

You're like the sad whacked out lib version of Sean Hannity w/o the radio and tv show

More like joy behar actually

Actually Nugent has a longstanding reputation as someone who doesn't use drugs. Until such time as we have some valid reason to believe otherwise, I see no reason to doubt his word.

The age of consent was, until 2001, 14 years old in Hawaii. It is now 16 years old. So, your assumption about Nugent's motives is obviously wrong because there was no such need.

Due to the age difference they could not marry so Nugent joined Massa's parents in signing documents to make himself her legal guardian, an arrangement that Spin magazine ranked in October 2000 as #63 on their list of the "100 Sleaziest Moments in Rock".[29][30]

You're obviously too young to remember.

But don't let any of that affect the adoration that the conservatives have for this incendiary, whacked out has been.
