I've been spending some time with an older guy lately. we are both member of the same lodge and have become drinking buddies.

the other night i got a tad shit faced and we both knew that the car was best left in the parking lot for that night.

so i went with him to his place within walking or stumbing distance away.

i didn't notice when we got there the condition of the rooms. i'm surprised i found the floor.

any how there are boxes after boxes of crap everywhere there isn't one area you could sit

i'm not the best house cleaner but it's kinda obvisios it needs to be cleaned

it must be horrible to come home to that day after day or night after night

i don't want to over step my bounds but it is also a fire trap. it needs some, well lots of attention asap

should i offer to give him and his roommate a hand or just ignore it and not go there again

o.o how do you get a "tad" shit faced, it's either you are or you aren't lol

Anyways, if he's your friend, then I think you should help him, they might be compulsive hoarders or something of the sort....

I'd avoid sleeping over.

Don't offer to help.

^ The worst episode ...

A few minutes later, they found another dead cat. #-o

ROFL! That's so funny - inhumane, but funny!

I have one friend who lives OS (thank goodness) who invited me to dinner once and the plates and glasses were not cleaned properly. Now, I can't bear to watch people eating or hear them chewing normally (I know, freaky. I'm careful with whom I eat - i need to hold them very dear indeed and love 'em to bits, or it's all like an Ally McBeal re-run watching a little mayo turn into a bucket of sludge covering somebody's face...), so you can imagine how dirty plates might have made me over-react. Well, I managed to contain my anxiety for 1 1/2 hours before thinking up a reason to leave early and apologetically, never to visit again. From then on, we only ever ate out.

Don't visit again, but keep it to yourself, as you're maybe not close enough to give this sort of advice...;)

^ The worst episode of that show I've ever seen was the one where they were cleaning this woman's house out and then found a dead cat.

Pancaked beneath the rubble. Dead for months, years, who knows how long...

They sat her down and were like "Lady...you do know that living in the presence of a dead cat for so long is, like, one of the worst things we've ever seen while filming this show, right?"

And she was like "yeah yeah, I know, I'm so ashamed of myself."

A few minutes later, they found another dead cat. #-o

Yes, this seems to be the rage on these shows. Now the silly Animal Planet network has a show called "animal hoarders". It is disgusting and sad. I watched 2 shows back to back (won't watch it again) and lost dead animals seem to be common in these peoples homes but who could smell it with all the crud in the houses.

I have a bad feeling about doing nothing, but it sounds like what most of you are saying.

and I don't know him all that well yet.

he is tidy always clean clothes but a little wrinkled like mine

back away is what i'll shall do

thanks guys
