I don't know about all that. You know the three fastest forms of communication - telegraph, telephone, tell a homo. I've had female friends hold secrets with no problem...or at least, held them well enough that I didn't know they leaked, which is pretty much the same thing, right? My gay friends, however, appear to have a website called "TOLD IN CONFIDENCE" where every secret is posted the second it's learned by any of them.

Thanks for the comments, my friend is still really upset about the whole thing.. his parents aren't talking to him. He says it's very awkward. I know he doesn't have it as bad as other people have had it, but it still sucks. I spoke a lot to him about telling his parents when he feels independant and/or if he's with someone he really loves. It's just a crappy situation that he had to be outed when he wasn't ready.
