Nude Men in Film

Great film but not the first to show full frontal male nudity .... Ken Russell's adaptation of D H Lawrence's Women in Love was released before TLPS (back in about 1969, I think) and also features full frontal male nudity. There's a lengthy nude wrestling scene in it between Oliver Reed and Alan Bates which features extensive full frontal nudity from both of them. I can also recall another scene where Alan Bates is walking nude through a field ... with dick in full view!

Hmmm... I don't think "Women In Love" was the first either... I read somewhere that the 1911 version of Dante's Inferno had a fleeting scene in which one full frontal male nudity can be seen. The film is largely lost, so who knows?!

"Ken park" comes to mind, it had a fap scene in it, but it won a bunch of awards for being, well artsy I guess

A weird arthouse French film in which HOT HOT HOT Louis Garrel is nude a lot.

Also, Come Undone and Angels in America though they are brief scenes.

A New Zealand movie called The Quiet Earth began with the main character sleeping nude.

There was also a movie called Threesome, three college kids screwing around naked, and the guys were hot.
