have you ever had to do a physical exam completely in the nude?
I had to go to the doctor for a medical follow up. My current doctor was unavailable so they schedule me with another doctor there. They also scheduled me for a complete physical as it had been years since I had one. The nurse told me to take everything off and put on the gown. When the doctor came in he did the follow up and then had me take off the gown at the start of the physical leaving me completely exposed from start to finish. There was nothing odd about his behavior I just never had a physical where I was naked the entire time. Has anyone else had this experience?
 
one time i had a pre-employment physical from a female doctor. she was strangely uncomfortable with the hernia check ... funny ... i couldn't have cared less, and always registered that close contact as "clinical" rather than "intimate".
 
Sometimes nude sometimes not, never
really mattered to me one way or the other.
 
I don't get - why didn't you put the gown back on when he was finished examining you "down there?"
 
I've always been in my underwear for physicals and my doctor just asks me to lower them when necessary.

If it bugs you, just tell the doctor. It's not an unreasonable request to put the gown back on when he's done checking you.
 
Usually it was all cloths off, (except underwear), and put on the gown. Doctor would tell me to get on the table, and then he would remove my underwear for the 'down under' exam....
 
I went to the doc about a year ago because I had a strange lump and testicular pain. We started off fully clothed, me just explaining things. Then he had me drop my pants for the feel up. Oddly, AFTER I already dropped my pants for him, and then took off my shirt, he throws me a gown and says "put this on". He listened to my breathing in the gown and then said put your clothes back on.

I still don't know WTF the gown was for? :confused:

Since then, 5 other doctors have played with my nuts...always in a gown.
 
Physical exams should be a head-to-toe check. One of the important parts is a skin check and that involves looking at everything.

For the patient's privacy, most doctors will have you keep on your underwear and a gown for most of the exam. The skin check, hernia check and testicular exam are the only parts where you would need to remove the underwear.

I have seen physicians do exams with the patient fully nude but they were either poorly trained or very inconsiderate.
 
My doctor had me fully nude. I ended up getting a hard on during the ball check and he acted like( or did slip )forward and my dick hit his lips. There was a string of pre-cum from my dick to his mouth! He laughed and said it happens all the time.

two yrs ago i had a physical and he had me strip naked in front of him and when he saw how hung i was his eyes got wide and he said "wow"...no joke..he spent extra time holdn me in his hand he actually played with it for at least 5 mins saying he had to make sure everything was ok, i started to get hard and he moved the foreskin back and forth a cpl times...

ok this really doesn't have anything to do with this...but it's in the same vein.

I am a photographer and work with a lot of guys...mostly fitness models.

When submitting a lot of places want the complete stats of a guy. Which is measurements of everything right and left-top to bottom. Minus the junk of course..LOL...this is fitness not porn.

I got a call on a guy I was repping. I told him to do the measurements and fill out the stat sheet.

Well he didn't remember. So when he got to the studio I had to do it. Which is no big. It's not like I haven't done it a thousand times before.

Ok no prob. I told him to strip down so I could get it...right. Thing is he wasn't wearing underwear. So he was totally nude. It was kinda funny. When I was doing the thighs. He started getting hard.

LOL poor kid...His face turned purple he was so embarrassed.
 
On the actual topic..I wish my Doc wanted to do the nudey exam...He is going through his mid-life thing probably. He got the sporty ride and he has started wearing a ton of product in his hair. O and the tan...LOL...that's kinda funny. Anyway he has started really working out ALOT and he is so totally hot now. He has a really sexy voice so last time I saw him I was getting all excited. LOL
 
When I go to my endocrinologist, he usually checks me "down there" to make sure everything is working. He has caused me to get hard to check for any kind of ED. I've never had to get strip down completely. The farthest I've ever went is to take my shirt off and slip my pants down but that's it.

I'd like to know what he does to get you hard to check for ED (also, checking for ED is not a part of a physcial exam or maybe I'm behind the times).
 
Doctors are suppose to use gloves during exams right? and during a prostate exam? and they only use one finger,right?

That's what I thought...but my urologist never uses gloves when he feels me up. Always seems odd to me, but he's a good doc and been doing it for like 40 years.

It's more actually important that the doctor wash his/her hands before and after the exam.

Some doctors do not use gloves when checking other things like the testicles and the abdomen (it's called "palpation") because it is difficult to feel small things like small cysts and tumors through gloves.

The doctor should use gloves during the rectal/prostate check. And a prostate exam requires only a single finger.
