Im also going to see it on christmas day.. 
Trier's own uncut 5 hour version is gonna be on film festivals and will most likely not get a full cinema release. it depends on what Lar's wants to do with his version since the studio wont release it.. but it will def be on the blueray/dvd when that time comes

The movie was good as usual with Trier's movies.. but i think all this hype about it i felt kinda was that it when I left the cinema...
also i think its alittle of a shame that the movies has so many stories in it so as soon as you get hooked on story it switches over to a new story but I think that might have something to with that they had to cut out 1,5 hour....
Uma thurman's part was very favorit... I would still recommend this movie.. its beautifully made and the acting is surpreme
and there is some hard cock in it but not enough *cries*

I liked it but it was a bit silly in parts. Shia LaBeouf's English accent is terrible, and Uma Thurman's acting was way over the top and misjudged. But as with most of Von Trier's films, I thought the cinematography was stunning. Charlotte Gainsbourg is actually amazing.

I had to see it dubbed in Spanish, since my bf doesn´t speak any English and he´s not used to subtitles. Even so, I didn´t like Labeouf, he is overrated and in my eyes he is a very very bad actor. Why would someone like von Trier use someone like him, it´s beyond my understanding.
Thurman´s acting was a very nice touch, I loved the scene. The movie was interesting from start to end.. and the end! Wow. It left me with my mouth open and this never happened before with a movie.
What they started in the early 70s, putting explicit sex scenes in a movie with a plot based or not around sex is finally happening lately more and more. There is a documentary called Inside Deep Throat that I saw a few days ago that explains pretty well how pornography ended up being the same boring 20 minute scene done again and again and again, while in the beginning, they wanted to make sex a normal part of a movie. You should see it, if you have the chance.
