Funny thing about photo ID laws - they have to be implemented OUTSIDE of election times, so that people can ALREADY have them when it's time to vote. Interesting how your party only cares about IDs when it's a couple of weeks till a major election, and a ton of poorer people would not be able to get them on time.

States legislatures .. both democrat and republican have been trying to implement voter ID laws for years ...and I don't think ever at election time -- they pass laws when their state legislatures are open for business.

And you just blatantly lie. There were numerous attempts by republicans to pass draconian ID measures weeks before election 2012. It's easy to google.

Meanwhile, if both parties want it all the time, why hasn't it happened? Can you direct us to any serious initiatives currently in the works?

I've come to expect Obama to be eloquent. He didn't quote live up to my expectations this time, but wasn't far off.

Of course, as with Reagan, I always wonder who really wrote it.

Thank you for this. It shows there was nothing wrong in what they were doing. According to stories I heard the memorial is a celebration of life not mourning death. And, Jack I have glasses and if you will find yours you will see she was holding the camera with both hands and Obama just one hand. And also according to Rolyo85's link Michelle had been laughing and joking like the rest of them.
