Fox News quoted just so that the republicans here will agree it's a fair and balanced source and hence the poll is accurate, meaningful and 100% correct. Obama is up by 9%. Significantly, "Obama’s advantage comes largely from increased support among independents, who now pick him over Romney by 11 percentage points."

It's really only a 9 point drop if it were the same pollster. In this case, Fox News has Obama +9, CNN has Obama +7, Gallup has a tie, and right-leaning pollster Rassmussen has Romney up by 4 pts. Rasmussen is a smaller sample because that is a daily tracking poll.

Rasmussen (right) and PPP (left) were the 2 polls in '08 that seemed to be off the most on final results. The big network polls, typically done in paid collaboration with others, come out less frequency but tend to me more accurate. CBS showed Obama with some nice gains in key battleground states this week (except Colorado) which tends to be consistent with Fox and CNN.

I used several f-king polls. Even when a right wing source like Fox News agrees then you have problems. I'm not regarding Fox as being the gold standard. I used several f-king polls. Open your eyes.

I told you it would make some heads explode. This is a bad day for our Republican partisans. Ryan picked for VP will ruin Mitt's chances and the independents are fleeing to Obama.

Ryan will definitely set the base but not unless Romney changes (yet again) and goes more right. Everyone knows the VP (including Cheney) isn't shit when it comes to actual governance. I predict more Romney gaffes, independents running from the right and a disaalusioned base on the right by November. So if none of them show up then it wont matter how much republicans try to pass laws to steal the vote.
