On-Topic Obama will not disclose college records ... what is he hiding?

Even the Huffington Post wants to see what Obama is hiding.

President Obama, with degrees from Columbia and Harvard, has an extraordinary record of academic achievement. He should establish a clear standard for himself, as well as for future candidates and contemporary students, that one's scholastic efforts mean something, not just for getting a credential, but for being a descriptive part of the narrative of who they are for years to come. With all the sometimes dubious information swirling around about the candidates, their college and grad school grades are something the public should be trusted with. There are few areas where educators like myself, the Daily Kos and the Wall Street Journal agree -- releasing these transcripts is one of them.

Could it be that Obama was still a self-described "Choomer" when he attended college or that is grades were not that good, or even worse ... we won't know until he becomes transparent.

The silly thing here is he could just have his transcripts released. If he was a member of some club he doesn't want anyone to know about, that won't show on transcripts.

Though maybe instead of grades, sometimes it just says, "Present".

More so for Romney: it was his dad who started the practice of revealing tax records, with the sum of twelve years' worth. But I'm not aware of any precedent at all for releasing college records.

So to be fair, Romney should release both financial and college records, if Obama is supposed to release college records.

I would imagine that is because every time Obama has given in early to Republicans they not only don't do what they agree to behind closed doors..they go public and demand that what has been agreed to isn't enough. That has been part and parcel WHY nothing has been accomplished in a bipartisan manner in congress.

Andy, with past Presidents (and wanna-be Presidents) we knew more about their college. You know what the GPA and what clubs Bush, Gore, and Clinton belonged to.

Can you honestly say you know much about Obama's college career other than being the editor of the Harvard Law Review?
