The deficit this year, and as far as the eye can see is going to be 1 Trillion plus. This will occur on Obama's watch and will be his responsibility. He's the President. He now gets all the blame or credit.

With this sort of thing, a guy can begin to appreciate the mode of warfare Europe developed in the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries: they had formal armies, and generally went off to places where there weren't civilians in the way. I know that the formality of a battle where the English general declares, "Men of France, you may fire first!" is quite alien to us, but at least they weren't inviting civilian casualties -- in fact people often went out for picnics to watch the battles!

He's nominated for deputy attorney general a man who believes that U.N. resolutions and declarations should supersede U.S. law even though the Senate hasn't ratified them as treaties.

THAT is a very bad sign.
