This is a political advertisement outlining the various excuses that Pres. Obama has used to "explain" what has happened to the economy

Anyone see the latest jobs report btw?

Yes, the jobs report. 80,000 new jobs. That doesn't even cover the number of people coming into the job market. Like all those new college grads carrying $1,000,000,000,000 in student loan debt. That's the next bubble that everybody is ignoring. Presidents are supposed to inspire. This one doesn't. He behaves like a petulant three year old blaming everybody else and never accepting responsibility for his failures.

Imagine if he got all of his agenda....climate carbon tax, which he admitted would be painful for the average family.Already thousands of new pages of rules and regulations, tentacles of new bureaucracies....and his health care plan actually doesn't really kick in for several years, and all the heavy handed control that the government would wield over the entire system would be difficult to undo.Still part of me wishes the conservatives weren't able to stop Obama from really being Obama and giving us a few years of the delights of progressivism(social democracy in truth)so we can shut up the self satisfied egotists on the left once and for all ....the only thing worse than the progressives are the conservatives that run the GOP.I'm not optimistic anyone can do the job....you got to tell the baes on both parties to shut the fuck up and go screw themselves, and no one around today has the balls to really do that in either party.Obama said early on if he didn't fix the economy he'd be a one term president, but obviously he thinks only his path is the right one as he as most politicians do lie without one ounce of shame.I'm NOT voting GOP,btw.....not sure who's getting my vote but neither major party is really worth our support...certainly not Obama or Romney. The Dems want to regulate EVERYTHING but personal conduct, the GOP wants to regulate NOTHING except personal conduct.Obviously a bit more complex than that but the gist of it is absolutely correct....more of the same crap no matter who gets in,just the emphasis on who gets favored shifts some.In the end we all get totally fucked, and NOT in the good way at all.

More people applied for SS disability last month than got jobs. And as always, legal immigration equaled or exceeded jobs created.

GOP have run this country for 30 years---they've controlled most branches of government---even when Dems have some power--there are enough conservative Dems to vote with GOP---Clinton only got in the first time because it was a 3 man race, Obama only got in because he followed a catastrophic presidency ---GOP ideas created the middle class mess in this country and most of the debt and financial mess we are in---we have not had progressive ideas in this country since the 30's---so to hear them complain about the mess we are still in (although it is not as bad as 2008 where I was taking my money in and out of banks before they folded) it's like what one person said--the GOP release the rats in the building and then come in and say, OMG you need me, I'm a great exterminator.

The Bush Depression was much deeper than reported. We're still mired in it and the President is trying to pull us out.

The republicans ran on jobs jobs jobs in 2010 but haven't passed a single jobs bill. In fact they're killing jobs...... fewer teachers, firefighters, police. All they've been doing is proposing voter suppression laws, anti-abortion bills and attempting to kill the Affordable Health Care Act for their health insurance industry masters.

Bush and his anti-American policies dropped the country into depression and they are whining that the President hasn't fixed their mess yet. We can't afford to have another republican in the White House. If people are stupid enough to elect this millionaire Romney character smarming his way to the Presidency when they deserve when they get but don't take everyone else down with you.

No worries - The President thinks we're doing just fine - as do his surrogates

Head of the DNC Debbie Wasserman Schultz stammering her way through the narrative that things are on the right course

this is the HEAD of the DNC

The Carter Recession was worse. Interest rates killing everyone.

Reagan stepped up to bat and broke the recession. He was aggressive in starting a recovery for EVERYONE. Obama has done nothing but complain and blame. He hasn't acted like a leader.

Obama is satisfied with the poor job growth and somehow sees it as going in the right direction. That opinion should tell you something -- he's lost and doesn't have a clue what to do.

It's time for a change.

You're wrong as usual Springer.

You really must be a "conservative" because you're talking about something that happened over 30 years ago. Your kind longs for the Victorian era.

But I agree with you it's time for a change. Kick out all these tea bagger republicans destroying America with their obstructionist policies. Where are all these jobs jobs jobs bills they lied about they would be passing?

The creepy closeted homosexual Mitch McConnell said "The single most important thing we want to achieve is for President Obama to be a one-term president." The Weeper of the House John Boehner can't even control those republican tea bagger traitors.

Yes, it's time for a change. 9% approval ratings speak volumes. Give them all the boot.
