Gosh.... next thing you know the government will want to ban alcohol because it's bad for you and destroys families.

Or pot because it's a slippery slope that will lead to drug abuse.

RIght there is where she makes herself an example of the kind of liberal the right loves to hate: people who want to do as they please, but want to tell the "little people" how to live... for their own good, of course. And at that point, they're no different than Republicans.
 
It depends on what exactly she said. We already regulate what minors can buy, and their diet in public schools, if that's where she's going, you could make a (pointless) case for it. However it was utterly stupid to tell a bunch of adults how much soda they can buy, especially since there was no way the law was going to stand.

Stupid piece of grandstanding, completely illegal. I hope he didn't get what he wanted out of the drama.
