Official Heroes volume 4: Fugitives thread

Alright ladies and gents, I must admit: After tonight's episode 'Turn and Face the Strange', Heroes is back on full force.

I wasn't overly impressed with Cold Snap, but since then the show has indeed been getting stronger with each episode and going back to stronger story telling and character development.

Watch tonight's episode, and if you don't think it's one of the finest they've done....Well, I don't know whether to end that in a threat or something else, so I'll leave it there.

I have to admit, the last 3 episodes of Heroes were very, very strong. "Cold Snap" brought back the hero-ing and flashy superpower via Tracy, and the following episodes finally brought back better character relationships.

the last couple of episodes have been pretty good...I haven' t hated myself for watching it after in awhile haha

Last episode was nicely done. The cinematography and direction was very different in caliber than previous episodes.

One thing that is really bugging me. Yes Sylar is a shape shifter now, I get that. But when he starts taking on the form of Bennett's wife, woman, the head guy. All of these people are shorter than him, so his clothes can't change with him. Just a minor detail that bugs me.

^Yeah, I know what you mean.....sometimes the producers/directors have the clothes change with him.....other times, not. Though the show is getting better, it still has MANY loopholes. Like how characters, when their stories intermingle, can get from one state to another, in just a short time. (Not EVERYONE can fly...). That STILL so annoys me.......lol....

On that note, how does Hiro travel? I understand he teleports and such, but does he just speed up time to get to his destination? If him just speeding up time for that, he would still have to go through all the leg travel, just at a much faster pace (which also means, if he were to slow down time, he'd see himself "walking" the journey).

Does that make sense at all? It's always been on my mind, but it's so meaningless I never bothered to ask.

What bugged me more than his clothes changing was that he even knew the state of Noah's marriage enough to pull off tricking him into thinking she really wanted a divorce. There's no way anyone would know that. And Noah is not the type of person to discuss that with anyone.

They've never really explained it, just said he can move through "time and space"

Sylar's clothes change for the same reason Claude and Peter's clothes turned invisible whenever they did, too.

Yeah, Sylar has officially lost it. I really hope it means an end is coming to his never-ending storyline. It would be great if he died in the finale next week and Redemption can start completely over with a new villain.

On the plus side, though, he's totally going to slaughter Danko and I can't wait to see it.

Wow---I really LIKED seeing this side of Sylar. Shows a more human side, and also someone who is not omnipotent. He absorbed a power he could not handle (emotionally AND physically). I like seeing him start to come apart at the seams.... He was "too" perfect for a while......

Holy shit...

I NEVER expected that outcome. I wonder how long Sylar will be able to stay Nathan. We know it's not going to last forever...the writers have a serious hard on for Sylar. Even so, that was a fucking fantastic end for Fugitives.

They didn't reveal anything about Redemption. I guess melting turned Tracy's ice powers into general water powers. That could be useful. I read that she's supposed to be a good guy and take a leadership role in Volume 5, but offing all of the former Building 26 guards doesn't seem like the way to do that.

I really think Bryan Fuller saved this season of Heroes and I hope he can make Redemption as solid as the end of Fugitives.

I LOVED tonight's episode. Glad Fuller is back, because it really was becoming a chore to watch the show. Now I can't wait until the next episode.

It's sad that Nathan, as much as I hated him these past seasons, died. He was actually becoming likeable, now that he had been humbled and put in his place. I also agree that Sylar will show up again. The "hunger" will return," I'm sure.

Little observation. I know that the show wanted us to believe that Sylar was Clair at first, but how did he change into her clothes, yet remain in his own at the end? (Yeah, we discussed the writer's tendencies for holes, but still...)

meh....glad this season is over....I don't know if I'll be returning for "Redemption".

Going from the fantastic "Chuck" finale to this "Heroes" finale...well any episode of Chuck into Heroes is a let down. I can't believe "Chuck" is still in danger of being canceled yet "Heroes" is already back for another season.

I'm kind of annoyed... because they could have brought in Claire, used her blood, and healed Nathan. She can even bring back people who have been dead for a short time. But no. "Oh Claire is busy, so we'll do this thing that doesn't make any logical sense, kthxbai."

I was really liking Volume 4, but this didn't really wrap things up very nicely.
