Official Heroes volume 4: Fugitives thread

Spoiler Alert! don't read on if you haven't watched the last episode yet.

OMFG, Considering their first inept attempt to take on Gabriel head on, I didn't think Peter would be smart enough to think of what he did! That scene was awesome! At first I thought, "Oh god, did Arthur come back somehow?!" Looks like Peter absorbed some of Gabriel's intellect. Hopefully he won't regress to his former emo self next season.

And yeah, how soon they forget about Claire's healing blood. Nathan's body was probably still warm. What a waste.

Why did they burn "Sylar"/the shape shifter at Coyote Sands? Again they returned to the ways of the company. When Claire finds out, she's going to have a cow. I hope we see more of Alice in season 5, although with the new company I doubt Angela has any intention of redeeming herself anymore. Angela will probably set her up in the new "level 5".

It's good that they showed a hint of Gabriel's real self in the Redemption preview. I can't imagine Parkman having the power at this point in time to completely erase someone's identity, especially considering the fact that he couldn't convince Daphne to have the will to live.

What's up with Tracy becoming a serial killer?? I love the water thing, though. Now she's pretty much invincible.

I hope Hiro doesn't regain any of his other time powers. Thank god that duo is finally shut down.

Danko didn't really die, did he? I wonder if he'll show up at all next season.

I'm kind of annoyed... because they could have brought in Claire, used her blood, and healed Nathan. She can even bring back people who have been dead for a short time. But no. "Oh Claire is busy, so we'll do this thing that doesn't make any logical sense, kthxbai."

I was really liking Volume 4, but this didn't really wrap things up very nicely.

Good point. THey didn't even need Claire, as Sylar has the same ability. Now that frustrates me.

^I cannot remember who (without actually finding the episode), but didn't only one or two people realize what Clair's blood could do? I do not think the other characters put two and two together. Remember, Clair does not yet realize that it's "Nylar", not Nathan. She was not in the room at the end. Only a few characters are "in the know".....Everyone else thinks that it is really Nathan.

Angela should have known since she knew Adam. Was it a secret that Adam's blood could heal people? And HRG was there. He definitely should have known.

Peter knew, IIRC. He was the one that used it on Nathan when he was scorched from the explosion back in Season 2.

ETA: I was mistaken. It was Adam who used it, but Peter was with him.

Either way, shouldn't that have meant everyone knew that Claire's blood would also heal others?

^ The writers forgot.

Once again, Sylar is going to live to wreck havoc once more. Can't they come up with a new, original villain again?

meh....glad this season is over....I don't know if I'll be returning for "Redemption".

Going from the fantastic "Chuck" finale to this "Heroes" finale...well any episode of Chuck into Heroes is a let down. I can't believe "Chuck" is still in danger of being canceled yet "Heroes" is already back for another season.

seriously...that season (and it better just be "season" not "series) finale was great....there wasn't a minute of it that I didn't love about it....

it actually gave me really high hopes that it would pale in comparison to Heroes' finale...but it didn't....actually liked the episode of Medium that came on after it....never knew how much of a quirky show that is

but as for season 5 of Heroes...only have 3 hopes for it

1....more sexy Crismon Arc...and less Hiro if possible
2....let the whole "Sythan" thing not be the focus of Volume 5 as soon as it starts up...I would like this to be like the Morph/Proteus situation in the Exiles comic by Marvel
3....RETURN OF MONICA a.k.a. "LADY TASKMASTER"...Micah needs a protector and she's his super powered cousin..just do it

Peter saw Adams blood heal his brother. Claire's blood was used to bring back HRG. Peter does not realize his brother is really dead. Clair does not realize her real father Nathan is dead. The only person in the room at the time of Sylar's brainwashing, AND knew about the "healing blood" was HRG.....who probably thought it (brainwashing Sylar into Nylar) was the only way to keep a close eye on him. HRG sometimes does "bad" things, for the "greater good."

Ok ... AM i done with heroes... I dont know..

I want to see what happens to tracy...

But i didnt get it.. who died sylar, or Nathan... coz in a way they're both died and on the other hand, they're both alive.... know what I mean..

I think they tried to kill Sylar, but it was hinted he will come back...

anyway... that was a OK season finale nothhin exciting, the only battle we didnt get to see it ;)

It's not that confusing. Sylar killed Nathan. Peter stole Sylar's shapeshifting ability during the fight and used it to turn into the President so he could tranquilize Sylar and stop HIM from becoming the President. Angela had Matt brainwash Sylar into thinking he was Nathan. Sylar's ability to learn the history of any object or person he touches will allow him to function fully as Nathan without anyone around him suspecting. So Nathan is dead. Sylar is alive but for all intents and purposes, is Nathan...at least until the writers get too antsy and feel the need to bring Sylar back, which hopefully won't be for a long time.

yeah I got the thing.. but they said "someone is going to die" but in the end i feel like nobody really died

I guess you can claim the persona Sylar died, but I'm sure they'll bring him back. I mean, what will happen when "Nathan" discovers he heals himself when he gets hurt? Can Matt really alter his mind to trick his body into only using one power? I guess I'll have to wait and see.

This season of Heros really sucked. I really like the show but it was just bad I kept watching it every week hoping it would get better but it didnt . I was really tired of Sylar killing everyone and going unchecked it just was boring and the season finale just sucked cause you know there bringing Sylar back.

I can't wait for the new season to start, tho there were some annoying parts in the finale

I think that the ending was great. But I have seen people here, and elsewhere, who keep referring to the confusion between "now" and "the future" type episodes from last season or two. SCRATCH those! That future does not exist in this timeline anymore. The writers even said that "the future" series was a mistake, and that those do not relate to the series anymore......

I think that next year "Nylar" will realize who he really is, but, wanting "redemption", will fight (emotionally/personally) to stay/keep Nathan's life.......
