  • Hi Guest - Did you know?
Hot Topics is a Safe for Work (SFW) forum.

Officially voting for John McCain.

If he becomes next president of USA I will be so pissed. He is nothing but a clone of Bush.

I think Obama has a possibility of winning. I hope so. I can not stand Mccain. He is a joke. I hate him! He is against gay rights too.

I am so not voting for him

Because when he wins, and starts shitting the place like his friend George W Bush

and people start complaining, like they are doing now...

I can say "I didn't vote for him"

and Be RIGHT!!! ..|

I wasn't being serious. I was stating a fact. Doesn't worry me who the Yanks but in the whitehouse. Whoever it is is their problem.
I think Obama has a great chance of beating McCain. I hope so. If America elects McCain it will show how stupid American's are. Bush and the Republicans have caused so much harm to this country.

THAT'S the reason? That's it. You're kidding me, right?

Can you name 3 policies that he was written?

Can you tell me what are some of the most important votes he's cast as a senator?

Barbrey, and I'm saying this cause I think you're a nice guy...you HAVE to have a stronger reason than just party affiliation.

What if he doesn't stand for something that you believe in?

What if he supports something that you are opposed to?

It is NOT a 2-party system anymore. This is the first presidential election you'll be voting in. I URGE you to know what your candidate stands for.

I'm not really sure who i'm going to vote for yet,I'm checking out of sides..

Oh!!!! That hurt..............Not really fucktard

Lol well I was not trying to offend anyone, so I am glad it didn't. I am just stating the obvious.... Most rednecks are Republican.

But, as Transpogue mentioned, it is not really a two party system anymore.. You have candidates that totally differ in many values running for the parties. Like Clinton and Obama.. Not too different, but still somewhat. McCain and Gulliani.. Etc etc.

but as Transpogue said, you should not fucking vote for a candidate because they run in a party. That is stupid. People who do that should not even vote.

That's cool. I don't give a fuck who votes for whom, but I like to see an informed vote.

You'll feel better about your part in the election if you are thoroughly educated about the candidates. There is NO such thing as a wasted vote if it is an informed one.

btw...congrats on your first election!

Thank ^_^ (*8*)

I'm voting for Obama, but I don't think think McCain is a bad guy. If we are going to have another republican president, I'd rather it be McCain than lets say, Mike Huckabee. I am optimistic about the chances for an Obama win, although I doubt if either candidate will win by a landslide.

well without going on a diatribe-like discourse.

Firstly I have not found any clear information an any of this so called intended "change" "change we can believe in" "change" "change" "change" You know what I think I'll see more chang come out of my $10 bill I give to them at the fast food counter for an Arby's pick five than I will from some unknown who's political career is shorter than the lifespan of some of the sex toys i've had that are still in good working order.

Earlier the question was raised in this thread in the direction of McCain about what bills or legislation he's written. We can direct the exact same question back to the other.

For me, what this is boiling down to is a known versus an unknown.

For fuck's sake, McCain spent more time as a prisoner of war in service of our country than Obama has been sucking at the tits of the super delegates.

It is my opinion that the leader of our nation must have experience in the proverbial game that is played on capital hill.

And what makes you think that Obama does not know the game? I mean sure, he is relatively new... But he seems to know what he is talking about.

And who cares if McCain was a prisoner of war.. Boo hoo, sorry for him... But that does not make him an experienced candidate.

My issue with McCain IS his voting record

IS his views, and what he wants to bring

I DO NOT want what he offers, we've had that for 8 years, so of course I am NOT going to vote for him!

and when we are in deeper shit four years from now, I can say I was right!! ..|

Like I've said the last 8 years!

:-)

There is nothing about John McSame that fosters any trust. Nor does he demonstrate anymore experience than Obama.

Anyone that thinks Obama can't possibly win an election simply based on the fact that he's an African-American, is living in the dark ages. Wake up. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, in less than 30 years, over 50% of the United States will be NON-WHITE. Think about it. Whites will become the "new" minority.

Anyone that thinks McSame should win an election just because he was a POW is also living in the dark ages. While his POW status is respected and honored, it's not a qualification for the White House.

Because I'm A republican?
after seven and half years of one of the worst administrations ever to come into office in this country, you can still present yourself as a supporter of this political party and the inept presidential candidate they are about to present to the American public.?

have you watched the events of the last year in this country with our economy? have you watched one of the most disasterous foreign policies ever to be presented to the world at large?

what positive steps in any area has this administration made over the past seven and a half years?

have you watched the performance of one of the most dangerous persons ever to service in public office - dick cheney?

eM.
