I realized today that as amusing and informative and provocative and thought provoking as all this has been...........

FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS HOLY AND RIGHT....

Can it just be over one way or another? Can't people just make up their fucking minds and vote? No more stupid debates or photo ops or any of that crap?

At the moment by the way, we're trying to make plans for election night when we'll be in Washington DC for a restaurant.

We need the best restaurant to go to if Obama wins and the best if Romney wins. Obviously if Romney wins, we'll want one where we can drink ourselves to numbness.

Suggestions please.
 
A large portion of Mitt's income comes from Bain stock and Bain investment portfolios. He is no longer the CEO but his links with the company remain extensive.

It's all about the "undecided" dipshits who have no conviction. They will suddenly "decide", with a virtual toss of a coin, on election day. Then they will pat themselves on their back for making CNN their bitch. Then the next day they will be second guessing their decision from the previous day. They are like political whores.

DC is a beautiful city at night and I spent many a night having fun there. it was more than ten years ago but I would suggest anything with decent reviews in Dupont or Georgetown.

Voting wont be over till December with all the republican obstruction and meddling in the peoples right to vote.
 
Romney owns considerable stock portions of Bain. He is not out of it. He is very much a person that the board of directors there want to keep happy.

IF you can't understand this, then you have no comprehension of the market system, or Corporate structure.

To say that Romney has clean hands is ridiculous. Even blind trusts get regular reports from their owners, as Romney indicated in the last debate, by discussing what is in his portfolio, as well as what is in the presidents. The owners of the blind trust is always allowed to give general guidance of their trust, no matter how "blind" they pretend it is.

to the undecideds and the issues they are creating... these are people that change their mind every time they hear something new from a campaign, and don't pay attention often, so the idea of the campaigns in the end game, is to be the last one they hear something from so they capture them for the last bounce.

That's why october surprises usually define the winner.

And for the record? I am ready for it to be over as well. We've entertained Romney and his merry band of miscreants for long enough. It can't end soon enough for me.
 
I see that today, Nate Silver has 288 for Obama and 250 for Romney.

By the way, I have to say that I am impressed that DADT, DOMA, Islam and Illegal Alien Anchor Babies have not bee the political footballs nation wide that I had expected them to be....yet.

We'll see if Team Rove/Koch are feeling desperate enough to dredge them out of the cesspool over the next couple of weeks in order to scare the 'swing' voters.
 
Nate Silver gets his info hand delivered from the Obama Campaign. Be careful how much value you put into his predictions.

Since you dare not watch or read conservative or Republican sources-- it would be politically incorrect-- you are getting a very distorted view. Republicans fully expect Romney to win.I do thimk we should limit charitable deductions.
Buffet has built a 40 billion fortune with little tax because his company does not pay him dividends or much salary.Now he is donating almost all to charitable spending out of the country.

Oh wait.

Except to prod me to remember that Romney and Bain don't direct their charity off shore. They just fire off the American jobs off-shore.
