it always bothers me when single gay men ask me why i'm single. and then follow it up with something like "you'll find him some day". like there is only one person out there dumb enough to go out with me, and it sure as hell ain't them.

i'd be dumb enough to go out with ya. and i'd think myself lucky if you said yes.

Sorry, kid, you have to pick one. You can't have both. All internal contradictions must be rooted out and destroyed if you want a happy life.

A few years ago, I chose the single life. I got bored with trying to find someone, and came to the realization that maybe I don't really want someone... I've noticed in this world that we tend to get the things we really want, and not the things we think we want.

And so I enjoy the single life. No misery at all.
