Cruise is in this "little-boy-haircut" because of the new flick he is filming in Germany where he plays a high-powered Nazi (Col. Claus Graf Schenk von Stauffenberg) ! The character, if depicted correctly, will have a heavy German accent. He will also have lost his left eye, his right hand and the fourth and fifth fingers of his left hand by the time of the film's climax. He will then be murdered by Hitler.

I hate to say it, but you're unlikely to find out much about what makes gay brits tick from the mainstream press, half of which is owned by Rupert Murdoch. You might get some good stuff out of the Guardian and the Indy, but other than that....
