He believed in a false twisted version of the American Dream that any American can make as much as a profit as possible. Now in theory.. this sounds wonderful. But to WHAT extent must that person go to GET that financially successful? Before Bush.. we had laws to protect the economy that regulated how much businesses could compete. If businesses and major corporations could use cut-throat techniques to make the most profit.. it will end in disaster. But no, Bush removed the Anti-Trust Laws set in place to regulate fair competitive rates. Here is the domino Effect.
Reagonomics believes that if you allow the wealthy to collect more money and then lower their taxes.. they will reinvest in the economy and it will all trickle down. If a rich person argues about their taxes being more then 15% while I pay 30%... they are obviously not going to follow the rules of ergonomics by reinvesting into the economy to keep it flowing. They keep it all to themselves. They see money as power.. an addiction. If you want one cent.. get the fuck outta their face. If you want a higher wage.. you are
hurting the idea of reagonomics because the rich should be making a more profit, and its wrong if you ask to be given a chance to make a better living. Its not their fault if you are dying and need medication, they will just replace you because you're gonna die anyway and your medical needs will cost them money even if it saves ur life. Republicans argue that business is business... but never look at the consequences to other people. If we allow one bank or company to fail... what happens to those jobs and to the stock invested in the bankrupt cooperations? Its GONE. Wal-Mart is allowed to now send jobs overseas and have the lowest prices... other stores can't compete.. so they go out of business.. and it effects entire CHAINS. More jobs get lost.. more stock loss... A loss in medical insurance while some couldn't afford to pay for it because the Premiums were raised by 29% which led to why in 2009 Obama said we need medical reform. WAKE UP People! People can't pay the mortgage especially when Bush allowed MONOPOLIES to do whatever they want and raise the interest rates to whatever they wished.. and made a 250% profit off of struggling families. More people collect unemployment.. Meanwhile The anti-democrats shrug and say oh well its the corporate world Not our fault. So all the jobs that get lost by walmart for example.. Sure walmart created jobs.. but destroyed how many to get those jobs? Does it make up? If you had good insurance with your old job and was forced to accept a lower paying job like walmart you couldn't get the same positive benefits.. because even though Walmart is stinking rich.. they don't care about you. You're a replaceable car part and if you complain.. they will fire you. How fair is that?

The stock market crashed because more millionares became BILLIONARES and all the money flowed into the smaller percentage of America's wallets. 80% of the nations revenue was paid by the poor and middle class Americans. The majority of this nation is poor and middle class. We are the engine of the economy. Yet as the nation went bankrupt.. we had to bail out the RICH people because they fucked up with all the risky investments and high rates. We ended up passing the expensive stimulus bill to try and get the nation going again and start over... it costs money to declare bankruptcy and get your life going again.. If the stimulus was not passed.. where would our nation have gone? You can't let a mess just SIT THERE it will get WORSE.
