I don't believe in either, personally. But if there's a such thing, I imagine I'll probably go to the bottom since I don't believe in the top.

Let's just put it this way - if there is a such thing as heaven, I'm doomed.

I don't think Hades is supposed to look demonic, all the ancient illustrations I've seen depicted him as quite human looking, like all the other greek gods.

Anyways, sign me up for the "cease existing" camp. I believe the soul is an extension of the mind, and the mind is dependant on the functioning of the brain to exist. That's not to say I don't have any religious or spiritual beliefs, I just believe the afterlife is nothing more than a human attempt to demystify death.

And even if I did believe in the afterlife, I don't think I'd view it in such a polar divide as "heaven" and "hell."

Can I go to BOTH? I want to go to heaven, of course, but I would also love the satisfaction of seeing the pompous, hypocritical politicians (and others) being in the place of eternal suffering, after they tried to convince us they were going to the nice place!
 
I'm just going to live my life to the fullest, enjoy every second of it, going to do what I need to do and where ever I end up I guess that's where I intended to be i.

I think there's something after life, but I have no idea what. But then again, that virtually defines agnosticism.
