Any Olivia Newton-John fans? 
I saw a thread for Carpenters so had to post in it. But was wondering if there were any Olivia Newton-John fans as well? Olivia and Karen were best friends so I'm sure there has to be fans here. I have pretty much everything of Olivia's including numerous concert bootleg recordings through the years. I heard she may be releasing an album next year as well. Fingers crossed. My all time favourite song has probably got to be Suspended In Time from Xanadu.

Lucky. I got to see her in 2002 when I was a teenager. 27 now. I was in awe the whole time. :') Would LOVE to go see her again. I have a bunch of audio recordings of concerts that fans have made through the years. Just love listening to her perform and of course listening to her studio albums.

My partner got me tickets for her concert next February last night. She is actually doing two shows in a small theater that is really great for concerts because every seat is great. We almost did not get to go as the tickets almost sold out in record time. So excited.

Saw Olivia last night! The concert was great, she looks amazing and although her voice was not at it's best on the first couple of songs (yes to my surprise) once she warmed up she was on top of every song. It was a fantastic show, her band was tight and they all worked together like a well oiled machine. My only complaint would be that she did not perform some of her pop material like "Make a move on me" or "landslide". Instead we were treated to an almost unwanted version of "cry me a river" and "send in the clowns" she performed them beautifully but I rather hear her material, anyone can sing those songs! She sang several songs from Xanadu and a lot of material from Grease with the help of her background singers who were of top caliber. She finished the show looking absolutely stunning in a black body hugging sparkly gown and she look great. The last song was "grace and gratitude", beautiful song but, in my opinion, not the best way to end a show, almost bringing everyone down with a tearful ballad that few of us had ever heard! Overall great show and she is most certainly a great performer. On a side note, the gay couple sitting next to us were drinking beers and kept burping very loudly and every burp filled the air with the smell of cheap beer, while not burping, one of them was singing loudly to every song, to the point that the people in front of them told him very loudly that they were there to hear Olivia sing not to have him screaming in their ears, good for them.

SOUL KISS and Don't Stop Believin'.. cant decide but i think it has to go to Toughen Up. Its too bad that i dont have either on cd yet.. just LP. But i ripped them to cd thru USB.. but it still sounds great... i gotta take a snap shot of my ONJ collection.. its HUGE.. kinda like me lol jk.
fav songs from Soul kiss are toughen up, title track, queen of publication, the right moment.
