If anyone ever invents a time machine, they should Simon Cowell back to Britney's first performance and put an end to her career before it ever began....
 
I normally don't participate in these conversations but I saw her video on youtube and was shocked.

I can't believe how BAD she was. She didn't even lip 'synch "It's Britney Bitch" lol. It's a sad day when the background dancers outshine the performer. She wasn't dancing! She was wiggling around like a slug on the stage. She wasn't even lip'synching part of the time.

Here are the subtle things I noticed:

1. Notice how many performers they put into it? They had background screens of female dancers and a whole entourage of dancers to distract your eyes OFF of Britney.

2. The stripper image is bad publicity. Why? The public has already seen her spread-eagle vagina, so wearing panties and a bra to a "comeback" performance doesn't help one's image of a rehabilitating mother of two.

3. The song is a bad comeback because you can't lipsynch to it. Which is why she was having problems with it. There's too much editing in the song with all her soundbites filtered through an electric microphone. But since they heavily filtered her voice, it only shows how she can't perform anymore like she used to.


Pitiful. It really is.
 
I thought I had turn on the greatest train wrecks of all time special instead of the MTV awards
 
She's just trying to upstage K-Fed as the worst performance at an awards show of all time.

I think that's what MTV wanted, everybody to tune in and see a train wreck. What better way to bring up ratings of an award show that has been floundering the past several years; hence the move to Las Vegas and making the program 2 hours instead of 3.

I think MTV knew that Britney wasn't ready and hoped that she would fail fot the benefit of their ratings. She and the MTV Awards have been the talk of every talk show! I wonder how many people tuned in just to see Britney.

She needs help, I hope she gets it.
 
Britney's gravy trail has finally derailed. She's always been a no-talent corporate product based on image with a horribly irritating baby voice. Now that her image looks like a broken down stripper, it's over.

She sure lapped up the 24/7/365 publicity before her meltown. Hanging out with that stupid twat Paris Hilton and then being photographed with her "naughty bits" on full display aren't the smartest moves to make. She brought all of this own herself.
 
I wish I could have the freedom to indulge in being such a mess and at the end of the day make a livelihood from it, and have people clap me for it. I'd do it in a second. I envy Britney.

I finally saw parts of the act. It was cruel not to have the magician make her disappear.
 
I don't know if this is the end of the trail for her or not.

But, that show last night was a total train wreck. For a "comeback" it was a no-go....

I do know that I expected much more energy and enthusiasm.
 
I just feel so sorry for her. She tries and tries and yet it seems it does not work out for her no matter what, so her self esteem must be rock bottom now and to be honest I am worried where she will go from here. I hope that this does not stop her from trying to get help and get help for her career and her children, but you have to wonder what a setback this will be to her ego, not to mention her work and livlihood.
 
I feel sorry for her. But the truth is, she was famous for her looks, not her voice. Now her looks have gone, everyone focus on her singing and choreography. She shoudn't have had kids too early.
 
To pick on her for her weight is just cruel, I think she looked great for a woman who had 2 kids, got a divorce, drinks like its going out of style, and is a bit off kilter mentally.

The performance was rough, unless it is true she broke her heel then I think she covered for it well.

but most women who've had 2 kids, had a divorce, drink like its going out of style and are a bit off kilter mentally don't trapse around wearing a bikini without ridicule, do they?

Anyway, yeah, I think Sarah Silverman's comments were totally inappropriate. I mean, come on... don't these people have anything better to do with their lives than make fun of someone?
