I do not understand. You have someone interested in you. That is all.

Don't look for reasons to sabbatage (sp?) this.

Just see it as an apportunity to make some friends (and maybe more.)

You're putting the cart way ahead of the horse, I think. Or, as my friend says, "He's one of those people who worries while recording a song that he doesn't have anything to wear to the Grammys." Besides, it's only a promise to yourself - you can forgive yourself if you break it. :)

Go. Have coffee. Have a good time. And if things develop, re-evaluate your promise.

So I went out for coffee with him. He is friendly, but not my type. He is skinny (he wears a size zero girl jeans) and I am more into more muscular/huskier guys. He is a lot of fun to hang out with, but I feel the extent of his personality is that he is gay. His phone and facebook have gay pride stuff all over them, he started the GSA at his school and all his comments revolve around homosexuality somehow... I will for sure keep him as a friend, but not what I want in a lover.

That sucks but hey not everyone is meant to be a lover or fling...some are just as friends.

You met a guy who was gay and he didn't treat you like you were the ebola virus?!?!

^ Yes, RHF. It happens.

Do ask him a bit about his Pride activities. We all have our "things", whether it's playing hockey or collecting Star Trek stuff or political activism. :)

^ nice going Volcom... theres a lot of guys who struggle to understand the difference and the importance of friendships and relationships. And way to many think that if its cant be a realtionship it should be nothing.

Its great that you see the positives and that now you already have a little support for the new chapter you are about to start... and thats never a bad thing.

Dont worry mate... your time will come... of that I'm positive!

Just ride it out and enjoy yourself for once.
