This is my take on Miss Universe:

1) Miss USA ALWAYS ends up among the final 10, or 5 , or 3. I guess it helps that Donald Trump owns it.

2) Contestants from Latin America have a higher chance of being picked.

3) And I don't understand why contestants from Africa, Asia or the Middle East EVEN bother participating in this kind of beauty contest. Have you seen the racial composition of the jury members ?

I know, I know, Miss Japan won last year. But purrrrlease, the fake boobs !!!
