I asked to keep my hair long (which I have been growing for 3 months now (wanted to eventually dread it)) and to just get it cleaned up a bit and then he practically cut it all off.

Excuse the fucked up retard smile (its the result of peeps always telling me to fake a smile for pics and is also the reason I seldom do :hide: ).

This is the fucked up haircut the guy gave me... I feel so much worse about myself now that I did before I got it. :( I look like a little kid now. :(

At least this pic shows that I'm still skinny (which some doubted after my other pic), lol (gotta find a bright side to the pic somehow).

Now compare this after:

WHY DO THEY DO THIS TO ME? :( Now it'll take even LONGER to have dreadable hair.

Maybe you can do dreads from just the top? Create your own look!

I lucked-out. I've had the same stylist for the last 9 years. I've put him through a lot, but he's always up for the task and I've never had a complaint.
 
Yeah dude, I think the new cut looks better and forget about dreads. It's a bitch to maintain. You have to palm roll each lock everyday. I had it for a good two years, until someone said something about me looking like Sideshow Bob...so I cut him and then chop the dreads off.

Ok so while we are at the hairdresser, someone please tell me why female hair dressers always put their breasts on us while styling our hair? For the love of pete, if we put our body parts on them it would be sexual harrassment.
 
From what I can tell, it's impossible for you to take a bad picture.

At the end of the day, it's only hair. You'll grow it back if you really want the dreads.

And I've found the worst haircuts I've ever had came from the biggest motor-mouths, so I avoid the stylists that feel it's necessary to have long conversations while holding scissors.
 
I prefer the after photo, but I guess it will take longer to grow out now you want the dreads. However, I haven't let anyone with scissors near my hair for a good year and a half. That's the trick to growing it out ;)
 
If you don´t question what you are doing to yourself any more why would you question the work of hair cutters...
 
I just wish I still had a thick head of hair like that....:cry:
