On Active Duty, members can't download scenes to keep forever? Or can they?

The Banana Guide review for Active Duty says, "You can now download, but there is strict DRM on the videos so you can only watch them as long as you are a paying member."
Is that right?
I'm thinking of joining (primarily for Kaden and Bailey), but I want to be able to keep the scenes I want forever. Can you not BUY a scene and own your copy???

Please, can anyone confirm or correct my understanding that downloaded Active Duty scenes will only play as long as I'm a member? Thank you, because I won't sign up unless the scenes I've saved are playable forever.
Or maybe I can simply BUY scenes?

I have been a member in the past and the scenes I downloaded then are not protected.
 
I am a current member and I have been able to download and keep all the scenes I wanted, no DRM on them at all. The selection is great, the download speeds leave something to be desired but other than that no problems. The playback quality is good to excellent, with the newest scenes (obviously) being the best but even the oldest scenes are good. I would recommend a membership to anyone interested in downloading and keeping videos after your membership has expired.

I used to be a member and can still watch the videos even though I no longer subscribe. Unless they recently changed their policy, I think you can watch them even if you leave. I might be wrong though because this was 6 months ago.
