Bush alienated the lunatic fringe of foreign America haters by telling them to go fuck themselves.... now Obama will ensure the rest run from us at the same pace with either weak or no support of our allies...

Attitude of the people in a party becomes clear when they lead and then they lose in droves.....

Oh thats right dissing Israel is ok cause they got fat people

Agreed! I so damned sick of Israel and the Republitards covering up human atrocities for each other. It's about time!

My thing is, why does Netanyahu act as if he's willing to compromise? He's one of those apocalyptic religious people that think giving an inch or territory is tantamount to going against God's will. Pat Robertson actually excused former Israeli PM Rabin's assassination because his support of peace talks went against God's will. America clearly has its own imams.

*That's the iPhone. Bus not base in original posting.

Building bridges with our Allies isnt Obama's strong suit

there is bad-blood between Obama & Israel

Israel responds

Did Obama's teleprompter fail?

He wouldnt know what to say.

Good. The more Obama distances himself from Israel, the better. I applaud Obama for this.

This country wanted Foreign Policy to change .... well Obama actually does something about it and addresses one of the biggest causes of hostility against the United States, that being our seemingly undying devotion to putting Israeli interests first, and you have a problem with it?

It's called "neutralizing" our position in the Middle East. If you recall, it's not like we are necessarily flocking to Iran all of a sudden.

What, he's supposed to help with resettlement or something? Is that what you Neocons want him to do? He's just running his mouth like all politicians are, a small hot air balloon.

I guess Palestine don't matter cause it's mostly Muslim, as in NOT Jewish, and a part of it is controlled by a terrorist organization, and Christian Americans don't care for the Palestinean Christians anyways (too busy setting back the equal rights movement here) who live there, only the Jews of Israel.

The problem is, he gets called an anti-Semite for standing up to Israel.

i'm neutral about israel/palistine conflict.

don't think obama say anything wrong.

Because the Israeli prime minister isn't in Australia coercing bad elements in Australian society towards war.

That's what Netanyahu is doing here. He basically killed peace talks by allowing more building on stolen land. And he's telling America to put the military option back on the table with Iran.

Netanyahu, take Lieberman and Rupert Murdoch back to Israel with you.

From The New York Times:

In Curt Exchange, U.S. Faults Israel on Housing

The office of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu rejected criticism of Israel’s plans from President Obama and others.

I am a strong supporter of Israel and I believe Hamas is a terrorist organization and not a legitimate government; however, I will say, that Israel is being an unreasonable bully in this situation about the construction settlements.

The US should be more neutral and objective in its policy toward Israel. Obama seems to be doing something like that.

The creation of Israel by the collapsing British Empire and the UN was unfair and very poorly thought out. But it's not the Hebrew people's fault. They had their reasons for moving there in droves, they were made promises that were later rescinded, and they were attacked on flimsy premises quite viciously within a short time of their arrival. To this day, there is a pathetic phenomenon where far-leftists in the West join with anti-Semitic Muslims in one-sided vitriol and hate directed against Israel.

With that said, the Israeli government' behavior over the years towards their neighbors, Palestine in particular, has been disproportionately forceful and disrespectful.
