2 August 1981, I went on a a one-week drunken and drugging fling. I ended up in the Hospital afterwards and was given the last rights of the Catholic Church. I made it through and it was my last use of any alcohol or drugs. I remember nothing of the 8 days or who I was with or what I did. They also never found my car it just disappeared, somewhere on Cape Cod. It was really a scary and mind searching recovery that took almost a month. I even ended up with Stephen-Johnson Syndrome that took a year to recover from.
