Around four weeks ago, for a few days I had a headache and felt blah. After that I could taste food, but didn't enjoy it. Also had a funny taste in my mouth. Around the same time I started get a rash. It's on my chest, back, and on my legs. They are pink, not very big. They are not raised, don't itch, or hurt.
When I went to the doctor for another problem (I posted on here) he looked at it. He had no clue what it could be, and didn't seem concerned. I wish I had asked to be checked to see if I had Covid
And I'am still eating, and using the same body wash, shampoo, etc I always have.
Could this have anything to do with the the other problem?

A couple of minutes after posting this, my doctor called, and said I tested positive for syphilis. At my age I should gave know better.

Hmmm.... did your doctor attribute the rash to syphilis? Syphilis can produce a brownish-red rash but it more often starts on the hands and feet.

Had it too. My very slight rash was also on my back and stomach. Only recognized it after I was diagnosed.

At the beginning of our relationship we had ourselves tested, my ex-boyfriend, also was infected and he had 'swimming eyesight'.

That's what he said. I am wondering if that's what he thought, but wanted to wait for that test.

Since your test was positive, he had you come in for an antibiotic injection? He should have also setup a follow-up appointment after your antibiotics for you to come in for retesting.

I am going in for a shot today.
