I'll quit after this, (I think).

Not only do gay men have to deal with hatred and state-sponsored discrimination the likes of which are foisted on no one else in society today, but we also have to deal with loving someone with love that will never be returned.

How much extra does that suck?

Why do I let myself fall for these straight guys?!!?

but we also have to deal with loving someone with love that will never be returned.

Nonsense.

Give your head a shake and stop feeling as though the universe has dealt you a bad hand.

It would be no different if you were straight and fell in love with some woman who you couldn't have or who didn't find you the least bit appealing.

I think you're one more guy who loves to use the 'I fell in love with a straight guy' as a reason why you don't have to face all the work that goes into a relationship with another guy'. Or the possible rejection by masculine gay guys. It is so much easier to know that you're always going to be rejected if you fall for the straight guys than to deal with the possibility that you may not pass muster in some homo relationship.

So.

Stop feeling persecuted.

Accept that you can be a happy homo.

Get out there and meet lots and lots of guys.

Points well taken. It's just that 90% of the field is already eliminated for us.

Still, points taken. Rareboy and Excess, you're right.

The problem here is that you're attracted to straight guys. That's what you've got to change. Yes it's hard to change who we are attracted to but...is it really healthy to like men who will never look at you?
