One night stands

I had a one-night-stand one time and swore I'd never do it again and haven't. I just felt so empty after. Not to mention cheap. Some people can do the one-night-stand thing and be okay with it, but it messed me up a little mentally. I hated myself for days after that. I just felt so used. But it was my own fault, I put myself there.

Because yeah, you're right, they fuck off real fast. This is yet another reason I rarely have sexual relations because I have to get to know someone before I'll go to bed with them and by then, in most cases, they get bored and still fuck off. They're like, "I wanna fuck NOW," and I'm like, "I don't," and that's usually the end of it.

You just have to meet the right guy, I guess. I know they're out there. They're just not easy to find.
 
yea ok, i didn't feel cheap at all when i had a one night stand with a guy i picked up in the bar. it was fucking awesome, to this day it was the best one night stand ever. i did feel bad at the time i got caught by my boyfriend, but 11 yrs later we are still together. so would i do it again? hell yes i would, only thing different this time he wants to join in.(!)

Well I won't deny that I had fun. But I just didn't like the way I felt about myself afterward, so I couldn't do it again.

So true Michael, I agree - Bravo Chris - don't settle for less than you deserve and it sounds like you deserve someone special
 
Been there, done that, hated it........Nothing beats having a steady boyfriend (except,maybe,gay marriage):D
 
I have only had one and it was not enjoyable at all. Some people can have them and be fine. I am just not one of those people. I was patient and did not have a boyfriend until I was 24. That lasted about a year. The second (and current) boyfriend and I have together 9+ years. Be patient. It will be worth it I.
 
I'm sick of it, I see it everywhere and it pisses me off.
It's there in online personals, there are sites dedicated to it, hardly anyone who posts honest "looking for friends and a possible relationship" gets a reply anymore. I've had the same ad on the same website for two years..do you think anyone notices? No, they're too busy fucking anyone who has a dick and legs.

I've had the one-nighters before, so I know whereof I speak. It makes me feel used and cheap.

Seems like the youth of today, of which sadly I am a member, are only out there to see how many dicks they can suck in a week...

I've had my fair share of one night stands in the past. They were good, then. But when you've experienced love, you realise how much they SUCK!
 
One night stands are fine if you're not expecting anything else.

They suck if you're expecting a relationship out of it.
 
P.S.--I found my one and only boyfriend on gay.com; but that's only because we were both bitching about what a bad place it is for finding relationships (although it's great for finding one night stands!)
