I never minded her music, but her music being inescapable during Christmas has put me completely off now
 
I've never been anybody's bf not even for a fortnight , on the other hand I'm experienced at sex but it seems typical relationships whether friendships , affairs , partnerships are not made for a neurodivergent man like me , in brief I've always been a lonely being from early childhood

I don't quite know why - and I'm no "low maintenance" good catch - but I've never NOT been in a relationship over the last 50 plus years. Sometimes with an unfortunate and unplanned overlap.
This current (and final) relationship is in its 34th year.
I know it's not the ideal for everyone, but the open relationships have lasted the longest - and have been the happiest.

I got into a bar out of boredom ; I haven't drunken in months and I met a straight gal , the place was full of boring men , she was friendly toward me , I told her I was gay , she bought me a beer and insisted on taking me to her place , she seems to be down as we both are in our late 30's she seems lonely , so she insisted on going to her flat , we went there , she tried to grab my bulge and lay her head on my legs ... I said I'm sorry I have to go as you know it's late

I felt sorry for her a we both are looking for a special man we can't easily find , the str8 men at the bar thought I had scored with her but we had spent time in the bar talking about men , it's a shame we both are looking for a man and It's wrong from her to try to make advances on me , maybe I should not see her again , who knows , she seemed laid back and funny but I don't like it when people want to get it on with me even though I've made it clear I'm not interested in them

Yesterday I was talking to a "friend" who gets on my nerves everytime. Hour-long phone calls. He talks all the time, but goes in circles to tell you nothing. He doesn't admit having mental health issues. He's obsessed about music, but has failed in every school he applied to. I'm afraid he's gonna fail again this year :(
I've known him for 10 years now. The only thing that got better over the years is that now he isn't lying compulsively.
 
I feel sorry for your friend Paul , he must feel lonely , well when you feel he is " stealing " too much time on the phone you could shorten the conversations with believable excuses
