I hated math, too, and it was NOT my strong subject. And yet, while I don't have special need for math today, it's odd--and maybe scary--that my math skills seem better than what a lot of young people today have. (I'll never forget the time a cashier had to pull out a calculator to figure out that 5/for $5 or something like that meant that the cost of one would be $1!)
