One Random Fact About You

As a six month old baby, I was clinically dead for around five minutes. When the doctor handed my body back to my father, I spontaneously started breathing again.
I often wonder if it's the same soul that came back, as the one that left.
 
I have a bizarre memory. I can remember things that happened to me decades ago, in extremely sharp detail - who wore what, who said what, everything. Until recently, if someone told me their date of birth, I could instantly tell them what song was number one in America on that date. (I've since let this useless talent slide a bit.) But I'm notorious for putting things down somewhere, and being unable to remember where less than a minute later. I used to get up at least ten minutes earlier than I otherwise would need to, because I needed that time to find my keys and wallet. Luckily, THAT little problem seems to be mostly fixed - a fair exchange for not being able to instantly blurt out, "Leo Sayer - 'You Make Me Feel Like Dancing'," when someone says "January 14th, 1977".

I don't think I'm afraid of rollercoasters - just don't enjoy them. I usually end up with a weird headache each time I get on one. But I kept getting on them, just so people wouldn't say I was afraid of them. Now I just say screw it, OK, I'm afraid of them. The headache isn't worth it.

Those slingshot rides, though? No fucking way.

I only ever had my right ear pierced. I didn't really like wearing the earrings much, though, and decided to let the hole grow over. It took forever.

I heard if one wants to sell his home, he can bury a statue of ST. Joseph, in the yard next to the front door. I did it today.
 
Whatever works, dynk, whatever works. :) I just hope you didn't accidentally dig up some pipes while you were at it...

I tried doing some family history to see what other nationalities I could find. None. It would appear I'm from German stock as far back as I can trace.
