I have such a fear of needles that I have my cavities drilled and filled without Novocaine. And no, I'm not being funny, I am serious as I can be. I'm really thankful that I've got good teeth and it's a very rare experience that I have to go through.

Obviously we're not all wired the same because it's extremely painful for me, but this irrational fear of mine doesn't allow for me to just deal with it and get the shot, so I deal with the pain instead. I know, stupid, but it's who I am I guess.

I am a Nurse Practiotioner so not afraid of needles. I must also admit I have never had a tooth ache in my life so we are built differently. Glad to see you posting, we are almost neighbors.
