I am currently subscribing to 1,480 JUB threads.

Don't let your heads explode thinking about this...the daily email notifications aren't all that massive - perhaps 20 threads per day at the most. As threads disappear off the front pages of their various Forums (fora?? fori??), there are no more posts and no more notifications. But if I was initially interested enough in a thread to post in it, I am generally interested to see what's new in that thread, even if it's a bump of a 2007 thread.

This should lessen the fears some JUB'ers may have about subscribing to threads in fear that their daily inboxes will be harassed with hundreds of emails every day. It simply isn't gonna happen.
