One Tree Hill/Supernatural Renewed?

Supernatural better be renewed not only is it a good show but, Jensen and Jared are freakin' HOT!!!

Is it today that the announcement is made? If so please let me know the outcome.

I disagree. I think there's an awful lot of emotion that needs to be conveyed a very subtle way because of the manly nature of the show and it's often in very awkward situations where they're forced to react to literally nothing. I think both Jared and Jensen do a very good job at a very difficult task.

A great example of our boys being on their A game is "What Is and What Never Should Be" one of my personal favorites

Smallville will be returning in the fall but, Michael Rosenbaum(Lex) wants out of the show.

I must admit.. I really do enjoy Supernatural. After Falconfan's constant promotion of this show in one post we debated in a few months ago.

I've studied Supernatural ratings and it does a decent job in the ratings department.. especially considering the competition. The only problem I see is if the shows budget = the ratings it needs so that it doesn't get canceled. I believe both Supernatural and Smallville are expensive shows for the network(the production values of both are very good). If there is a choice between which one would be canceled.. it would be Supernatural unfortunately.

One Tree Hill should be canceled.

Awww.... (tear) to know I made a difference (tear) lol But honestly I'm really glad to hear that you just made my day (*8*)

As for budget it does have to shill out the big bucks for special effects but it's got a exceedingly small cast, none (or should I say neither) of which can really demand big bucks. I've never watched smallville but I hear there's an upcoming MAJOR character death and if that's true about Michael maybe it will be Lex. If that's the case it may be sunset on the show. idk how integral he is because as I said I never watch but I hate when shows try to extend once a neccessary cast member is gone.

How can they kill Lex Luthor in Smallville? Everyone knows his place in the future of Superman so he can't die. I've heard that the latest season of Smallville has had some really dodgy plot ideas (marrying Lana off to Lex being one of them) and that as a result the show's going downhill.

********Spoiler Alert for Smallville fans...Do not read any further if you don't want next weeks season finale spoiled for you***************

I've read on Kryptonsite.com that either Clark,Lex,Lana or Chloe will die in next weeks episode. Now, we all know its not Clark..not Lex either(contrary to him wanting to leave)so my guess is Lana.

Yeah. I think what will happen is showrunners will offer him more money to stay for one final season and it'll end with season 7.

About the plot devices this season, it has been really uneven, but one of the more interesting plots this season has actually been Lana marrying Lex because it has turned finally Lana into an interesting character, so I don't know who's saying that plotline sucks.

BTW, just so no one gets confused, NONE of the shows discussed in this thread have actually been renewed. I really wish people would stop saying they have been.

I hope it's Lana. She really pisses me off with her flighty attitudes all the time. Although, the show could afford to lose Chloe because Lois could take her place and then the relationship between her and Clark could start to ignite more.

I'm guessing it will be one of those two. I was kind of hoping they'd wrap up Smallville this year. I think it's spiraled way out of control this season. I LOVE the first four but can't stand the most recent two.

As for Supernatural, they ran a new promo this week calling it the best horror show on TV (or something like that) according to some guy whose name escapes me at the moment. Maybe that's a sign that it will stay on. :D

They've dragged the whole Clark n' Lana thing too long already. As for Supernatural the guy you are talking about is horror novelist Clive Barker.:D

I really hate that Chloe was never in the comics because that screams 'I'm just here to eventually die' and she WILL die, because otherwise we'd have 'two' Lois's in the show.

I'm sorry but how could you have actually liked the attrocious 4th season? That was the most all over the place season IMO.

And that's so funny that they're calling Supernatural the best horror show on tv, when, as far as I know, it's the ONLY horror show on tv right now.

Well hardcore Chloe fans are specualting(hoping) that she Chloe will change her name after the real Lois dies..which to me is dumb.Personally i think the show has been getting better.Clark is slowly getting on the right track towards his destiny. The other 2 horror shows(if u can call them that) are the Medium and The Ghost Whispers.

Yeah I heard that rumor about Chloe and you're right it is dumb and makes no sense if you actually read the comics. Nice to dream though.

I used to like Medium but it comes on at times when i watch other things now and I've never seen The Ghost Whispers a day in my life so I don't know what the hell that's about, lol.

But there were some really great moments/happenings in that season.

(First of all, Jensen Ackles joined the cast ), Lois Lane arrived, Clark learned to fly, they introduced Grant (the super fast kid), Alicia and Lucy, there was the episode "Transference" where Lionel Luther and Clark switched bodies, "Spell" where Chloe, Lana and Lois were posessed by the witches.

It might have been off the wall but I thought it was a fun season. :D After that, things got way too depressing and dark.

man im sure they both get renewed , im just hoping for Veronica Mars, that is one of the most awsome underrated shows ever made , please dont cancel it
