Looks like I'm developing a few online crushes. I'm surprised this hasn't happened earlier !oops!

One guy has his own YouTibe channel where he talks about being gay and goings on in his life in general. The other is someone right here at JUB (no I won't tell who and besides they live across the pond so that's not very realistic)

The guy on YouTube is around my age, very intelligent, cute, well rounded and is comfortable being gay and lives in a neighboring state. Plus, he always invites people to contact him and ask him any questions.

Anyone ever have an online crush before?

I have crushes all over the place, and I'm not ashamed to admit it. Some guys around here are good looking AND intelligent. That's a terrible combination. Also, there's a guy I got to know online who is bi and in a relationship too. He's a huge flirt and damn sexy. I can't talk to him too often or too privately otherwise I'm pretty sure I'd be playing with fire

If they're single that's a great combination. Part the crush to this guy is the attraction to his avatar picture, he's very good looking.!oops! I'm pretty sure it's not a fake picture either.

I have had a few in the past. Presently there is one but I am not doing anything about it to avoid any inconvenience I may cause him or myself.
 
I crush on people online quite often.

Unlike when first meeting someone in person, you get to learn a lot more about someone on a forum as such, where they discuss their past/current experiences, and you also see how intellectual they are through their postings.

People are a lot more open behind their keyboards, and I always imagine the friendships I could form with these people who I tend to think I slightly know. I generally then make a fool of myself by writing to them, and then avoid contact in my typical fashion.

I have a big crush on a certain somebody from here, and I recently went on a date with him (last night to be exact.) I'm not saying who, but he knows who he is :o

I've had one or two, I Tend to run away in fear after a terrible experience a while ago. Can't trust anybody now. :(
 
I'm not sure it exactly falls into the "crush" category, but I've had a few people I've met online that I'd like to meet in person; some to hang out with as it would be fun, and others to have fun with, and maybe they'd end up being fun to hang out with..
 
Well I cant really say crush... I mean I cant fall in love with someone I've never met.

But I really do like some people i've met online :D
 
I used to when I first came here. Several actually, and I think they all know it. :)
 
To me, the very point of a crush is that it can't go anywhere. At least, that's how I always conduct them. If it's somebody to whom I have access, I skip crushing and move straight into falling in love.

I've had crushes on people here, two who I can think of off the top of my head; one of them even moved into my corner of the world, and I didn't even try to make contact. And I've had crushes on YouTubers (though I won't mention their names since they were under 18 at the time...yeah, I guess I'm just a vile old perv, but they were of age in their country of residence), and the silliness of trying to pursue them doesn't bear consideration.
