The main article in this weeks Parada magazine offers intersting questions. I would love to hear how people answer it.

Question: If you had one day to spend with someone who's gone...
Who would it be? What would you do?

I would spend the day with my best friend. I would give him a big huge long hug! It would not matter where we were as long as we were together. I would never want that day to end.

I wouldn't want to do it because I would have to relive the hurt of losing them

my mom

i would ask her if i have become the man she hoped i would become

I was thinking the same thing. The day in itself would be awesome, but I don't think I could handle the loss a second time.

well, if not someone that you have personally known in the past, what about someone that you have never met? Ghandi, Queen Elizabeth I, Abraham Lincoln, Albert Einstein, etc.?

Well, in that case, maybe spending a day with Henry Ford would be fascinating to me. Of course I would want it to be in present day so he could see how time has evolved in technology with all the things he had a hand in besides cars.

my answer's still the same from last time:

my grandma. she died when i was really young so the only image i have of her is of a pair of hands that smelled like cinnamon and a soft voice.

i would have like to have gotten the chance to get to know who she was as a person.

That is interesting. You picked someone who was known to be anti semetic and supported Hitler.

Curt Cobain.

We'd sit around at the beach and listen to music.

Ahh, a lesson taught to Mary & Martha.

I wouldn't mind seeing my brother again, but it's still rather fresh in my mind.

But aside from that, I'd like to sit with Vivaldi for a day.

I pick Jesus Christ.

I'd videotape him as he reads the New Testament and corrects all of the typo's and translation errors...
