Did you know that the average heterosexual couple only make love two or three times a year, that is over one third of them. and another one third only make love two or three times a month.

The remaining 25 % are doing something else or maybe nothing.
I am a gay man and if I have not had my man in my arms two or three times a night it is a bad day or night. What is up with we gay men and lesbian women? Tell me.

I think you said it all in that one sentence. When you have a good thing, you can't get too much of it in my opinion. I have a theory that the reason gay people in general are soo happy is because they are so comfortable with their sex lives. Physical Intimacy is the best cure for depression, anxiety and a lot of other woes in life.
I think you have a great outlook of life Shep and I think your great!!! (*8*)

for way too little. I say go for it. You only pass this way once.
If some want to wait, delay, deprive themselves, it is a
free country and they have their own choices to make.

But when I found the study, I realized that it sounds different than some in the gay community. (wink, wink) dogsbest friend, I hope you will make more posts.

I would have to concur with that Shep...when I was living the "straight" life, that is about the frequency....

.....then it dwindled down to about once in the last three years before I came out.

I wasn't sure if it was because I was gay and living a lie or just the normal hetro way....but since I've been out I probably have sex five days a week and j/o the others! I now find I'm in good company! The only problem is some of the younger guys complain I have too high of a sex drive and they can't keep up! Ha...ha!
 
at the rate i'm going i'd be happy for 2 or 3 times a year!

it would mean i'm actually getting some.

oh well, that's the way the cookie crumbles...

thewiz I congratulate you on making the change. Once every three years, and I would think your genitals would shrink up and look shriveled. There is no such thing as too high a sex drive. I drive what I have, and it is just fine, and so will yours be too.

Two pieces of information. I have a partner, now 18 years. I have to say that he does not complain about too much sex, and he is 59. But I may be oveersexed, but I do not think so. I like it like this, and we are a hoot together. When he walks through that door, I am damn well be naked, and my job will be to get him out of his Police Officer's uniform and make love. I continually court him and I am in to love making really big time. I am not sure a young man could keep up with me, but then he need not worry, for I am with my man.

Two, you have to know yourself. Either I am making up for nearly fifty years of lost time and confusion, or I am having the time of my life, and I am pretty sure I know which one it is. So my partner will come home tonight and he will put out and so will I, again and again.

Maybe its due to the number of children they're bringing up. Infants are the best antidote to sex ever, they keep you up crying all night, so making any romanitic love thoughts rendered impossible.
