OnlyFans says Goodbye to Adult Content

Apparently the site has said "in order to ensure the long-term sustainability of our platform, and continue to host an inclusive community of creators and fans, we must evolve our content guidelines". They're proposing a distinction between sexually explicit content on the one hand and nude content on the other. Good luck with that. All they're going to ensure is that the business and the money goes elsewhere.
 
^ Can't they just do the same that want-ad websites did in Spain years ago, set up a separate web to operate with that sort of content?

The problem appears to be with the payment processors. So any adult content site is probably going to have the same issue

Actually, I do not see very clearly the "issue" with adult content.

When HUP, or Wiley, whoever that was, would tell me that they can not handle online orders outside the core of the Empire because they can not ensure secure payments, I get it is either that they are so shabby they can not afford a proper digital infrastructure like the rest of the civilized world without shaking up their balance sheets, or that they are so targeted by hackers that they could not possibly deal with any random order coming in from outer space; but, in the OF case, the only problem I see is that they want to become respectable in the eyes of traditionalist idiotic users who wouldn't like to be associated with a brand name dealing with female nipples and shaven male pubes, and they want to grow beyond a few dozen million users and become as big as the billion users of FB, and start dealing with people offended by words, monuments, G-rated personal attire and grooming or colour shades instead of just body parts.

I still do not see any problem with the same people operating old same OF under another name, just like Disney had its main brand, the Touchstone label while it was necessary, and then the Gay Days when it became necessary too, without renouncing to being as fundamentally prissy as Disney has always been from Walt.

Tumblr had a very good reason for its porn removal, potentially a lot of underage situations. This one is nothing like that, only legal content allowed and vetted, this is just shooting yourself in the foot AND the dick. The owners want to make it respectable and classy? Well, all the millions they thought were going to come their way from new investors is going to be offset considerably by the significant PG-13 ing of the content. Well, they'll learn the hard way, and NOT the good kind of hard!
