And of course society won't progress if we give up before we even start.

I think, in my lifetime, we could see the door crack open for gay performers.

On January 20th a lot of people, myself included, had their foot stuck in their mouth, they said it wouldn't happen in their lifetime.

Years ago I said I wouldn't see a black president in my lifetime, so now I'm careful about predicting how able society is to accept new ideas and lifestyles. Hell, fresh off the heels of an attack from Muslim extremists, we elected an unknown man with a Muslim name. Go figure.
