Further to my response to Benvolio trying to not only equate but transform the opponents of Nazis into Nazis.

It's interesting, and even ironic, that the entire kerfuffle is about rewriting history, which is exactly what Benvolio is doing, and exactly what Trump and his cronies do consistently mainly because they don't know the real history in the first place.

In the run up to the general election that ushered in Trump's presidency I took particular note of the arrogance of a few, just a few posting here whose contempt for "redneck America" bordered on racist abuse. Little did I realise then...that this so called East Coast superiority complex would influence many voters into turning out for Trump, for many so called "progressives" (particularly those who avoided voting for Hillary Clinton, in favour of others) know precious little about people in rural, and suburban America who voted for Trump.

It is noteworthy that coastal elites do sometimes hold contemptuous views bordering on the conspiratorial about the people they “fly over.”

Here in Athens our neo-Nazis, and Anarchists are well rehearsed in hiding their identities for they are well aware that the police service is filming their riotous activities in order to identify, and detain those who lead, and encourage riotous activities.

At some point the year after year students, including me, will see something, touch something and learn something. When all the students have learned something, it will be time for peace. It's also about time.

The UK was saved by the English Channel and an exhausted German Army needing rest, and re-equipping after its rapid invasion of The Netherlands, Belgium, and France.

What Nazi's had in common with modern democrats was a desire for total power and control, including thought and speech control; intolerance of other opinions; the use of racial and class hatred to gain control (anti-white is racist too); control of the media for propaganda purposes, etc., etc.

Clearly false. Trump for instance is dismantling many of Obama's regulations, with very few new ones. They are largely libertarians while slow to abandon traditional morality. No Republicans telling school children what to eat or how large cokes they can buy. You will never find Republican speech codes. There are no Republicans trying to prevent liberal speech, but democrats are trying to limit what can be said on TV or the internet. Democrats control most of the print and broadcast media and use it ruthlessly to promote their agenda. Republicans do not control the media.
