Original Super Mario Bros. Game costs $600!

I'm sure it'll be worth more if that person waits to sell it in a couple of years....

I remember that game. Good times....

For some reason, I thought Kris said the original "Mario Bros." and left off the Super. No way in hell is that game worth $600, even sealed. Rob the Robot doesn't even sell for $600 new.

Ahh, yes it's not quite the original arcade one.

I guess not...but people are willing to buy it for that price.

Something no one remembers is that there is a battery inside those games that, much like the battery in your watch, runs for several years but eventually dies and with it, I am told, so does the game. It just becomes a sad square of plastic at that point. No way to replace the batteries.
#-o!oops!](*,)

^I've replaced batteries in games before.. and it works a game to be good as new. BTW, there is no battery in Super Mario Bros. :)

Well...I'm glad I have one that I can actually play without messing up the value on my NES. As for that 600 dollars...no way in hell. (but that's just me).

Right, I still have a (semi-)working NES plus a fair amount of classic games. I'll just start calling that my nest egg then.

There has been one offer, no buys.

You can ask any price you want for anything, but it doesn't mean it's going to sell.

Value is only determined once you get cash in hand.

Uh nope...not when I can get it on Virtual Console for far less.
