Osama Bin Laden Dead!

It's been a slow, but steady movement in the right direction.

The month he took office was the worst of the crisis in terms of jobs.

Out of interest it would be interesting to see the equivalent data for Public Sector employment. The reason private sector employment here in the UK rose, was simply because the government contracted out many services to private companies. Private sector employment rose - public sector employment fell.

[-X Culture: a particular form or stage of civilization, as that of a certain nation or period.
The point was not the "culture" (civilization... whatever) thing (well, only to a very small extent  ), but the "our": people who claim THEIR culture is being destroyed never actually know what culture really is.
It's like when the fascists talk about freedom, as something they can use just as another way to use THEIR everlasting privilege to put themselves above the rest. THEIR this and that are THEIR privileges under whatever fair name it seems more useful to conceal them.

A victory not just for the U.S., but for all the civilised peace-loving citizens and nations of the entire world. OBL knew that he will be shot to death someday by the U.S. I'm sure that U.S. was more interested in capturing him dead than alive, and so did the rest of the world.

I imagine there are a number of people in the Pakistani government/army/intel service who have spent the past few hours busily covering their tracks.

The news this morning says he's been buried at sea. While I understand the reasoning behind that, I also hope there's some evidence which can be publicly presented, however gruesome it may be. I'd hate to see this turn out similar as to what happened with Hitler when the Russians hid his body for decades, keeping their mouths tightly shut, thus engendering all kinds of stories, some fairly improbable, some merely plausible, some seemingly possible.
You bet that will happen...

and he will definitely be a martyr to millions and an inspiring excuse to fuel more terror or even create a new religion.

In any case, as I posted a couple of hours ago..: http://www.justusboys.com/forum/showpost.php?p=7090691&postcount=229

approx. 1,000,000 dead in Iraq (people incidentally who had *nothing* to do with the 9/11 bombing) to satisfy the American people's desire for revenge... who are the real monsters?

I love that Osama is dead, but the US is looking more idiotic than ever right now.

The drunken dancing in the streets, the beach balls, the "Osama's dead" cheerleaders I've been seeing on the news is absolutely disgusting. The man is dead, but terrorism isn't over. Take the time to reflect on the lives lost. This isn't like your team won the Superbowl or the World Cup.

The amount of tourists that decided to party at Ground Zero and chant "USA" sickened me. Respect the lives that were lost there first. And the lives lost in the last few wars. This is not a time for tree-climbing and hooting and hollering.

I just hope these drunken idiots don't go on a hate crime spree against the nearest Muslims in their area.

It is a normal reaction for the unforgivable crime of flying planes into buildings.
Some of the cheerers are american arabs.

´

No surprise. After he left his cave in the hills, this was only a question of time.

A little look back to the year 2002...

Bin Laden shot in the head by US Navy Seal

His body has already been buried at sea. Why?

Does that qualify the person for the reward?

From what I've read:

Islamic custom requires bodies to be buried immediately and no country would accept the remains.

Iraq is folly and immoral, to be sure, but does not negate Mr. Bin Laden's act of war. He lost.

But has he really lost?

Do you really think the USA can kill almost 1,000,000 :( souls in Iraq & Afghanistan, and not experience a burgeoning of terror attacks against the USA?

Think of all those little Iraqi boys and girls who watched their mother, father, brothers, sisters blown to bits for no apparent reason by the US military...

Many of them will grow up to commit terrorist acts against the US in retaliation for what was done to them... and who can truly blame them if they follow that path?

In that sense, Osama has achieved his aim of inspiring a legion of terrorists to take up arms against the American people...

I was so disgusted this morning watching all the conservatives on the morning shows somehow find ways to praise bush.

Out of interest it would be interesting to see the equivalent data for Public Sector employment. The reason private sector employment here in the UK rose, was simply because the government contracted out many services to private companies. Private sector employment rose - public sector employment fell.

Tarp's funding of projects and job creation peaked in 2010. The effects of tarp will slowly deminish over a ten year period as the spending becomes more and more reduced. 2011 was the first substantial drop in tarp fund expense.

the idea was to slowly cut back the added gov't employees and contractors for public works as the private sector not affeected by tarp directly slowly recovered. The R&D expense on energy is another direct expense meant to stimulate not only private sector job growth but also building new private tech sectors that would give american manufactures a more competitive edge.

Thats why the unemployment rate has not been as affected as the bikini graph above would seem to indicate. Although there ARE jobs being created privately, the tarp legislation forces gov't to wean the public off of public sector employment (via contracts for public works).

This is the part that Kreuger the economist was so irritated with Obama about. Kreuger forecast a slower private sector growth and thought the weaning periods and sheer volume were innadequate, and that Obama had over estimated the resiliency of the economy.

I think the president hit the right mark. We could use a slower rate of "weaning off tarp funds" but we would have already hit the debt ceiling and The budget would be an even bigger nightmare than it is.

Are the American people really so stupid that they would reelect this Marxist piece of shit who has destroyed our economy and is working to destroy our culture?

what r u stoned or stupid?

Bush one started his fake oil war - put the country TRILLIONS in debt - MR. Clinton came in and cleaned up the place - THEE ONLY president in nearly 100 YEARS to balance the budget - THEE greatest ecomomic president of ALL time - Bush two comes in and starts the entire fake oil war all over again - the entire economy falls EXCEPT the Oil Companies which have THEE most profitable years of ANY industry in the ENTIRE history of the world - but its all just a coincidence of the texas oil president - the vice prez gets all the contracts to rebuild - the housing and banking markets fall and ONLY the rich can buy up the underpriced real estate while the working class lose everything - but its all just a coincidence...

Nevertheless Bush & Bin Laden had some commonalities...

A time to remember the dead- not a time for celebration.
Let hope another monster is not created in the same way this one was. Remember who backed him and helped him attain power

I find this unbelievable. A piece of shit? Really? There was a time when alternative plans and papers were presented and debated. If workers of the world had been able to unite by now perhaps more people in more countries would have money for more purchases.

The old capitalists left us public buildings, parks and infrastructure. The new dingleberries create "reality" TV.

To call the President a piece of shit is bitter grapes gone berserk.

I have renamed the Log Cabin Republicans the Glory Hole Republicans, because that's what they are relegated to. Absolutely no influence. I think they ought to get some promises in writing when a legislator starts tapping his foot or drawing circles around the hole with his fingers.

I'm sadden by the lack of defense for Marx. You KNOW NOTHING absolutly Nothing~ About Marxism and what it entails. Other wise you would not make such a ridiculously ridiculous remark. I wish Obama was a Muslim(I'm not one)/socialist/ Marxist (Mayyybe)/ etc... But people Have no fucking idea, beyond their embellished talking points, about those attributes they label the man.

...Also culture? America culture? you mean the aggregation of other cultures? Then....he's looking to kill "Culture" and not 'culture' wow...the man must be powerful...](*,)](*,)

..Also give the man some damn respect...He's done nothing that you've attributed to him. I'd never call a president a piece of shit (The man's job is to protect the capitalist system) No one takes up a job, with the intent of destroying their job....

Tarp's funding of projects.... .....would be an even bigger nightmare than it is.
Thanks for the explanation and info! ..|

The amusing thing about politics is that the previous government always diss the current government when it tries to put right the mistakes of it's predecessor. Our Labour party are critical of every single move that the Tories are doing at the moment - whilst conveniently forgetting that it was Labour that got us in the shit in the first place. Welcome to democracy Triple G.
