What he won't like is that if we pull out now Afghanistan will go to shit since Osama will be turned into a Martyr for the cause of the radicalists.

So no, there is no possibility whatsoever of this news being used as a way to get us out. His advisors will recommend against it, the military will say not a chance, and our allies will not support it either.

I challenge this--- I really think Obama is still braced for this war. I know he's a pragmatist, but I think it isn't a political pragmatist, looking for the easy roads to aggrandize himself. I really feel he's standing the ground in Afghanistan to see it to victory, otherwise it contradicts his interference in Libya.

He made a factual statement. Was it a jab at Bush? Probably.

You could have ignored it -- you didn't.

What you did was unleash this bickering that is an insult to the victory that was achieved.

You say you respect the office, but that appears to be an empty claim: you have yet to thank the President for his persistence which led to this accomplishment. You spend your time instead trashing on others here.
