Triviums music is really heavy but on an album they went a bit softer and was accused for trying to sound like old Metallica which is just bullshit, Here is a badass song thats about society on sexuality, race and sex! Check out the lyrics on the video \m/

I decided to check up on Bleeding Through because I haven't listened to them in a good bit, saw that they are breaking up. Always dug band and their latest record is actually decent. When I first heard their album "This Is Love, This Is Muderous" and the first track "Love Lost In A Hail Of Gun Fire" starts off with a Boondock Saints sample, I was so pumped, it was perfect.

^Brandan Schieppati is a guy I'd really like to meet, but I don't know if I'll be able to attend their last tour, if that hasn't already passed. Ah well.

Most of the music I listen to is in the rock/metal genre :) I guess I mostly prefer post-hardcore type bands, but I love a lot of heavy stuff too (more in general than specific bands). Most of my favourite ones have a good balance between the heavy/loud and melodic elements.

Some I listen to are Underoath, Deftones, Bring Me the Horizon, Killswitch Engage, Nirvana, AFI, Finch, Fightstar, The Pretty Reckless, Slipknot, Shadows Chasing Ghosts, Of Mice & Men, Thrice, The Color Morale, Dir En Grey, Lacuna Coil, Nightwish, Palm Reader, Eyes Set to Kill, I can't think what else right now...

My favourite bands are ones that have screaming in their music, but know how and when to use it effectively in their sound along with good clean vocals, so the majority of the stuff I listen to is less 'heavy'.

I love all kinds of metal. the type of of music I like is symphonic metal, Here are a few YouTube example

To those that have put youtube links just copy and paste the links.

I haven't really liked a Killswitch Engage album for a while. My friend turned me onto the newest album where Jesse has returned and I really dig it.

*Raises hand*. Different styles of rock, including Hard Rock and (tuneful, without screaming as the main vocal style) metal are my favourite styles despite liking tons of styles (including so-called 'gay music' to varying degrees). It goes well-back. I have so many thoughts about it but I'll write them later when I have the time :). I risk writing an essay !oops!.

Since the age of about 11 or 12, i`ve been into Rock, Hard rock and metal. Since i grew up in the end of the 80`s and beginning of 90's, i liked everything from thrash metal, some glam, then some grunge.. and now i like some of the old stuff, and some more recent.

Favorites include: Finntroll, Judas Priest, Anthrax, Dio, Maiden, Testament, Accept, & lots more :)

I really like Blue Oyster Cult. I also have some Deftones, Black Sabbath and Led Zeppelin.

I'm going to Summer Slaughter this year, because it'll give me the chance to FINALLY see one band I always happen to miss when they're in town - Morbid Angel. So yeah, pretty fucking excited. ..|

^Nice.

I am moving and I found a CD wallet and a stack of CDs in an old CD case I had. I found a burnt Nightwish album and the first HammerFall album that I actually bought. I haven't listened to either of these band in ages and both bands are actually still together which weided me out for some reason. Although Nightwish has had a vocalist change since then.

This is a great album, though.

I haven't followed Nightwish in quite a while, but i heard that they replaced Annette with Floor Jansen. VAST improvement IMO. Floor used to front After Forever, which was very good, and gave a great live show. :)

New Holy Moses, new Whitechapel, new Aborted - my ears are happy today.

I checked out some songs with Annette and really didn't dig any of it. Can't wait to hear their next albums with the newest vocalist, though.
