It's fine to challenge the stories that somebody is posting. There are limits to this, too. But so far we never heard any complaint from ElroyAuto nor any kind of statement other than new threads. In this instance members reported the other thread - and they were right. We have deleted much more coy threads with bad intentions that were aimed at a single member.

We do not have any evidence that he is any kind of sockpuppet. But it's always easy to throw this accusation around, it kinda became is a "thing" now to explain anybody causing any kind of conflict. As it's still in fashion to moan, bitch and complain about the mods. You know, if it's not public you won't get enough attention from it.

Bullshit. Why are you making up crap like that? There are very few known dual accounts that have been tolerated. None of them had any troll-tendencies. Quite the contrary, several mods, including me, put extra-work into discovering fakers and outing them. I could start to compile a collection, but since you spout out accusations like that without any evidence, I won't give you the luxury of putting any work into that.

As the ones who ascribe to such conjecture invariably are the ones who have been here longer and seen many like Elroy.

And as many people have been called sockpuppets, it has never been proven that they are. Mostly, at some time when people were throwing around accusations, we could even prove that they were wrong. Claiming someone is a sockpuppet is an easy way out to discredit someone. But if you do so without any evidence, it tells more about you than about the perceived sockpuppet.

And then there is the techno-mystique of the web, site administrations, superuser capabilities, and known foibles. Because the powers and discretion and integrity of mods/admins remain shrouded in darkness, speculatory assumptions will always persist, and true to any positions of power, some will be closer to true than not.

I'm not sure what is a mystery to you, but oh speaketh and thou shall be enlightened. There are no secrets about this - the only thing that we do not reveal for obvious reasons is the technical side of how we stop certain fakers and spammers. However, once somebody got caught the evidence is at hand and not a secret.

Also there is of course, for quite some time now, the ask the moderators forum for any enquiries like that. But I know, it's not public, your fans won't notice your rebellious clash with the grand powers . But hey, for that there is still the site help forum. Probably still not as cool as trying to stir up some controversy in a thread already full of the usual pranksters ..

Once again I call on ElroyAuto to move to CE&P and away from the veiled confrontations of HT.

There we can reasonably discuss the changing social paradigms and developing libertarian mores. We can consider the subject in light of daddy worship, the "Father/Son incest thread, and aspects of fatherly dominance in role playing.

There are fewer member schoolmarms in CE&P and discussion is had of an issue on its merits.

As for sockpuppets, better our sockpuppet - facing our issues - than one advancing an unseemly outside agenda. He is not a sockpuppet until he falters and admits it never happened; either way, pics would help.

This is what I thought. I figured that the anniversary was maybe like it was 24 hours since Elroy had tongue punched his Daddy's fart box and so the occasion demanded some special recognition.

I also am baffled by the 'finally', though.

We come to JUB hopefully to offer assistance to our fellow homo friends who may seek it. We come here to keep informed on what is going on in the crazy world around us. We come here to be entertained by the likes of ElroyAuto and others. Thats what forums are all about. I believe people post these type of threads to get a reaction and to get attention that they may not be getting in their life and this is fine, that is what we are here for.

I have never commented on the actual topic in these kind of threads because they are not actually seeking advice or assistance. They are just relating some odd happenings in their life, real or imaginary. That is the entertaining part. If some posters want to come in here and call foul or bullshit that is their right, afterall, the OP posted this and must except the reactions that follow. If they are sockpuppets or fakes I for one don't care, it's all in fun. Our lives are pretty serious outside of JUB, at least mine is, and I don't need it here.

The fact that you admit that there has been a dual standard is the very source of the continuing speculation. As the mods divine malicious from benign, it doesn't follow that the great unwashed out here, not in the know, will draw the lines in the same places.

Yes, so if you are ever in a desperate situation where you want advice from people on this board, but it's such a delicate and/or shameful situation that you do not want to ask for it under your usual or previous username, I will make sure to either delete your thread and ban the account without a comment or out you in public. Is that what you want?

We will never protect or tolerate anyone exploiting this for malice or deceit.

Sadly, several of us who have used it have found it to be uncommunicative, peevish, unhelpful, or capriciously used. It's not a matter of audience or cool or crusading, just simple speaking and responding. It didn't work that way the few times I went there.

It's not "get what you want from the mods", that much is certain.
