police took barricades down

hundreds of protestors returned to Zucotti Park

rules:
no tents
no sleepovers
no lending library

it's on TV right now

In the words of the venerable St. Ronald, "you ain't seen nothing yet!" OWS will not be going away any time soon. :=D:

Lots of rule and restrictions on democracy. Guess we really live in a restrictive "democracy". If you have $$$$, you have more freedom to do what you want.

More like: rules for a park, that existed before OWS was even a twinkle in anyone's eye.

Well hopefully it will make the OWS play like big ole grown up adults and have a platform and make a difference.

They wont have anywhere near the support if they cant pull in the itinerant and homeless.

I will be very interested to see now who the people are who actually desire to protest everyday about this issue.

Kudos to NYC. A workable solution And hey they didnt have to offer free office space like LA did...

Probably the opposite is true.

And that manipulation of the truly poor by the city in an attempt to discredit the movement was despicable.

Kudos?

So you think they're rolling in money and can afford to travel every day from where they live?

This is truly turning money into speech -- and shutting down speech if you don't have money.

thats complete bullshyt!!... i live in New York and most of those rules were adjusted for the Occupy Movement itself, privately owned public spaces are a poor excuse for corporations and institutions alike to do as they please when they see it doesn't fit their agenda. For people like you to support systematic oppression proves that you are obediant slaves to the establishment
