Actually my doctor just told me to stay away from the diet drinks and drink water.

So I have begun cutting back.

A friend of mine is so addicted to Aspertame (i.e. Diet Coke) that he gets a headache if he doesn't get it. He can easily drink up to 4 litres per day.

I'm sure the caffeine is more of a contributing factor to his addiction than the aspertame.

I drink a lot of water. About 5-8 litres a day depending on how I feel. Sometimes I buy flavoured water & I love it!
